Scientists have influenced our world by questioning, guessing, and gathering resources to experiment with their ideas. They have explored through much trial and error, keeping precise records so that others can follow their journeys to new knowledge. Finally, they have shared the results of their much experimentation with the rest of us and have had some beneficial conclusions for all mankind. Reading about a scientist's background and accomplishments can prove without a doubt that every single individual can have an impact on all those around him. One person can make a difference--history records the ones who have.
